There is no current evidence that Virginia is experiencing an outbreak, but the recent &#8220;explosive&#8221; headlines are a good chance to remind healthcare staff about foundational infection prevention best practices.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What to Expect:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/surveillance-and-investigation\/virginia-communicable-disease-data\/virginia-monthly-morbidity-surveillance-report-2018\/\">Virginia Monthly Morbidity Surveillance Report<\/a><\/span>: See how cyclosporiasis and other reportable diseases compare with past years and seasonal trends in Virginia.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/han\/php\/notices\/han00531.html\">CDC Health Alert Network (HAN) &#8211; Health Advisory on Cyclosporiasis<\/a><\/span>: The HAN shares updates about urgent public health events.
